About the Professional Opportunities Bulletin

The "Professional Opportunities Bulletin" is an ASSOCIATION publication which gives a member agency's job openings as wide a circulation as possible. The "Bulletin" is published monthly and is sent to Schools of Social Work Placement Offices, Jewish Family Services, and other job placement services in Jewish Communal Service. Individuals requesting a copy of the "Bulletin", who are not presently working in a Jewish Family Service and who would like to enter or re-enter the field, can also receive the "Bulletin" complimentary. Copies are also sent to all CEOs and Senior Managers of Jewish Family and Children's Agencies.

By and large, the "Bulletin" lists Executive and Senior Manager positions, although all levels can be covered. The ASSOCIATION subscribes to an "open listings" philosophy. That is, no positions are held back or offered selectively. All agencies listing positions with the ASSOCIATION are encouraged to operate in as open a fashion as possible.
